The “Comfort” carpet carpet pad from HaftPlus made a very good impression in our test. In addition to the large selection of different sizes and individual customization , the product impresses with its high-quality workmanship. The material is flexible and tear-resistant, but can still be easily cut to the right size. In use, the product impresses on all smooth floors with its anti-slip effect. Thanks to the possibility of hand washing, use is guaranteed even after soiling. Only the chemical smell at the beginning could be perceived as annoying by the customer, but it dissipates after less than a day. The product is OekoTex Standard 100 certified and therefore contains no harmful substances and, according to the manufacturer, no phthalates.

Packaging
The “Comfort” carpet carpet pad from HaftPlus arrived for our test in a typical shipping box. This was undamaged on arrival, but had to be opened carefully using a tool (scissors, knife, etc.) . Inside the box, the carpet carpet pad and product description were wrapped in a plastic film. This packaging method optimally protects the product from external influences. Product protection was therefore fully guaranteed and the carpet carpet pad was delivered in perfect condition .
The packaging is partially recyclable. In contrast, the plastic film cannot be recycled. Notwithstanding this, the presentation of the product makes a very good impression.

Most people’s first impression after unpacking is immediately memorable. Are the contents of the package complete and does the manufacturer make it as easy as possible for me to use the product straight away?

The plastic film contained the folded “Comfort” carpet carpet pad. Product details, care instructions and its dimensions could be taken from the enclosed product description in the form of a DIN A4 sheet of paper. First of all, it should be mentioned that the “Comfort” carpet carpet pad makes a good visual impression. We didn’t notice any visual defects, the material is flexible without deforming and tear-resistant.
The design is simple and plain . Although there could certainly be more color choices for different floors and carpet colors, the carpet pad should ideally not be visible, which is why the color should not be relevant.
After unpacking, the carpet carpet pad still has clear creases from the folded shipping, but these are not a problem. The product also emits a slight chemical odor, which dissipates over time. We would attribute this to the anti-slip coating, which is based on acrylate.
The product is OekoTex Standard 100 certified, so it contains no harmful substances and, according to the manufacturer, no phthalates. HaftPlus has thought ahead in terms of sustainability, as the carpet carpet pad can be washed by hand and used again after soiling.

The “Comfort” carpet carpet pad is suitable for smooth floors such as laminate, parquet, PVC, stone floors and cork. In our test, it was used on laminate.
The product does not initially fit perfectly to the floor due to the folded edges. However, as soon as the carpet is placed on it, the unevenness is no longer noticeable. Both the floor and the rug remain firmly in place at all times. The rug remains in its intended place even with jerky movements.
With a height of around 2 mm, the product is not noticeable. The feel of the carpet changes for the better, as it is now more resilient. The carpet carpet pad can be cut to size individually to ensure that it can be used with all carpet formats. In our test, we were able to adjust the material easily with scissors and without any messy edges. It can be cleaned by hand washing. Even afterwards, the carpet pad still offers the usual anti-slip effect, so that the product continues to prove itself as a reliable and durable carpet pad.
The tested “Comfort” model in the 80×200 cm size is also available in 40×60 cm, 60×120 cm, 80×150 cm, 120×180 cm and 140×200 cm.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.3 stars. Some complain that the product leaves residues or stains on the floor and smells unpleasant. On the other hand, several reviewers emphasize that the unpleasant smell quickly disappear s and that they were able to remove the carpet carpet pad without leaving any residue . They also praise the unbeatable anti-slip effect, which keeps the carpet in place even when put to the test by children or pets. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the chemical odor quickly dissipates. No residue could be detected after use, but a long-term test might have been necessary. We were also impressed by the anti-slip effect .
Prices of up to €18 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products, on the other hand, are available for as little as €14. The “Comfort” carpet carpet pad from HaftPlus in the size 80×200 cm is therefore in the lower price segment with a current price of €14.48. Consequently, the price ratio is very good for the quality and scope of services you get.
