The pool cushion from FAIRMO made a very good impression in the test. These pool cushions make the pool absolutely winter-proof. The material is particularly well sealed with a double seam. This not only saves annoying puddles of water, but also prevents frost damage. With a thickness of 0.4 mm, you get protection that lasts down to minus 20 degrees. The air cushion can therefore withstand even the coldest winter. An “Easy fix” set is supplied in the event of a tear in the material. To prevent the pool cushion from slipping under the winter cover, the matching cords are also supplied. The product should be fixed as centrally as possible under the cover. It is also suitable for round pools.

The pool cushion from FAIRMO arrived in the typical Amazon box. The box was undamaged and easy to open by removing the adhesive strip.
Inside the box was the pool cushion, which was wrapped in a large plastic bag . This guarantees that the cushion will not be damaged during transport and storage . The product was fully protected in this case and the product was in good condition.
Unfortunately, the packaging is not completely recyclable. The labelling for children that there is a choking hazard due to the large opening of the plastic bag was printed on it in 10 languages.
The first impression is very good, as neither the product nor the packaging used was damaged.

After unpacking, there were three things on the table. In addition to the pool cushion measuring 2×4 metres, 2 “Easy Fix” repair kits and 4 cords for securely fastening the product were included. Instructions for using the product can be found on the product packaging. Contact information is provided, but unfortunately the customer hotline is missing. All in all, however, this is a very good way to send a product.

The pool cushion from FAIRMO is made of 0.4 mm thick PVC material, which can withstand temperatures down to -20 degrees. The pool cushion can be securely positioned in the centre of the swimming pool using the four fastening eyelets on the product itself and the four cords supplied. Thanks to the special safety valve, which has a double closure, the pool cushion can be inflated quickly and without air loss . The use of an additional electric pump is recommended for faster inflation. If a small hole does appear in the cushion, it can be glued with the repair kit supplied.
The product fits any pool, whether round, oval or rectangular. The only important thing is to make sure it is the right size. If the pool is too small, the air cushion could protrude. A round pool should have a minimum diameter of 4 metres. A rectangular pool, on the other hand, should be at least 3×5 metres.
Unfortunately, we cannot find any information about sustainability , but the materials used appear to be of very high quality, which is why we assume that they will be very durable.

We really enjoyed using the FAIRMO pool cushion during testing. The product is self-explanatory to use and easy to handle. One advantage of this product is the central attachment of the cushion using four fastening eyelets with cords. The pool cushion proved to be very robust in the stability test . The cushion makes a high-quality, solid impression and is very satisfactory. The durability of the pool cushion over the winter or over the years in practice would have to be determined in a longer test period.
