With its firmness level 4, it is specially designed for people weighing up to 150 kg and offers optimum support and adaptation to the body thanks to the firm core and the 7-zone pocket spring core. The automatic climate regulation through movement-synchronised ventilation ensures a pleasant sleeping climate, while the high-quality Cool Life® cover reduces night sweats. This mattress is also suitable for allergy sufferers and can be easily cleaned thanks to the separable cover. However, the colour of the foam may vary, but this does not affect the quality. Another negative point we have to mention is that the mattress is not suitable for slatted frames with strong adjustment.

For our product test, the OrthoMatra XXL-TFK mattress from Betten-ABC was delivered in the company’s own shipping box. The box was in perfect condition.
Inside, the mattress was rolled up in a thicker film around the mattress itself and a thinner plastic film that held everything together. We believe that a plastic film would be sufficient for product protection and that this should be reconsidered in terms of sustainability.
There was a large product label on the film with important data and information about the product as well as instructions for making a complaint. The box itself contained another sheet with the most important product information. After unpacking from the film, the mattress was in excellent condition, with no holes or stains. At first glance, the mattress makes a very good impression.

The visual appearance of the OrthoMatra XXL-TFK is appealing. The high-quality cover feels pleasant against the skin and the slightly glittering design gives it a high-quality touch. The workmanship is very good, both the cover and the 4-sided zips are solidly sewn. The mattress is stable thanks to the well-stitched zips and the tear-resistant cover. The cover is removable, separable and machine washable at 60 degrees. The durability and quality of the mattress is impressive. This helps to conserve resources as the mattress lasts longerand needs to be replaced less frequently.

In our practical test, the OrthoMatra XXL-TFK mattress fully lived up to its advertising promises. The lying comfort left nothing to be desired: The mattress offers excellent ergonomic adjustment, which makes lying down extremely comfortable. The spine and joints are optimally supported and relieved without sinking too deeply into the mattress.
The materials used are breathable and moisture-regulating, which creates a pleasant sleeping environment and reduces night sweats.
Another plus point is that there are no unpleasant odours with this mattress. Even immediately after unpacking, no such odours were noticeable.
The mattress adapts flexibly to different sleeping positions and offers good pressure distribution and pressure relief for the entire body, regardless of whether you sleep on your stomach, side or back.
A particular advantage is the ease of care: the cover can be removed and even split thanks to the 4-sided zip. It can be machine-washed at up to 60 degrees, which makes hygiene much easier.
To summarise, we can recommend the OrthoMatra XXL-TFK mattress from Betten-ABC without reservation. It offers outstanding lying comfort, supports the health of the spine and ensures an optimum sleeping climate thanks to its breathable and moisture-regulating materials.
Despite minor limitations in terms of compatibility with highly adjustable slatted frames and varying foam colours, it is an excellent choice for heavier people and meets the highest standards of comfort and hygiene.
