The aluminum Dibond and acrylic glass mount from PEARWAY made a very good impression in our test. Thanks to the extremely strong adhesive surface of the 3M brand, all pictures can be hung without hesitation and have a secure hold. Apart from one or two tools, such as a folding rule or a drill (for the 8×6 cm version), all the necessary components are included in the set. The suspension disappears completely behind the picture/mirror and is therefore invisible. It would have been desirable if there had been more cleaning pads in the set and they had not dried out so quickly. In addition, the polystyrene spacers do not meet the highest quality standards. Nevertheless, all in all a top product!

The aluminum Dibond and acrylic glass mount from PEARWAY was delivered in a narrow shipping box from Amazon. There was no damage to the box and it was easy to open. Inside the box was the slightly smaller product box containing the pearway picture and mirror holders. Both the Amazon box and the pearway box are reusable. The box contained all the necessary parts. Dowels, screws and hangers were stored in a separate bag in the pearway box, as these individual parts can easily get lost. The retaining plates, spacers and spirit level were loose in the pearway box. As this was kept very compact and is no larger than necessary, the space was used sensibly and not wasted. None of the components were damaged. In summary, very good.

The box contained the following components: six retaining plates, two cleaning pads, 3×4 spacers, a spirit level and a bag containing the screws, dowels and hangers. The instructions were also included in the product box. These explain the exact procedure in simple steps. It also describes which additional tools are required. The instructions address the customer directly, which shows pearway’s customer-friendly approach. Furthermore, customers are given the opportunity to rate pearway on Amazon using the QR code on the instructions. The customer can find the contact information on the outside of the lid of the product box.

Attaching the retaining plates after cleaning was no problem at all. Simply remove the protection from the adhesive surface and stick it to the back of the corresponding picture. A little manual skill is required to attach the wall mount, as holes had to be drilled into the wall. We then secured the supplied wall plugs in the holes and screwed the wall brackets in place. The picture was then hung on the wall brackets after 24 hours, i.e. the drying time of the adhesive on the retaining plates. Since then, the picture, including the spacers at the bottom corners, has been hanging on the wall. The PEARWAY Alu Dibond and acrylic glass hanging system has lived up to expectations.

After attaching the mounting plates to the back of the object, the customer has 24 hours to attach the hanging to the wall at their leisure. After a quick check to see if there are any water or electricity pipes in the wall, the holes can be drilled and the plugs inserted into the wall. The hangers are then screwed in place. Once the 24 hours have passed, the picture/mirror can be hung up. Alignment is very easy with the help of the spirit level supplied. Overall, the PEARWAY aluminum Dibond and acrylic glass hanging system is a great product that enables the picture/mirror to be mounted properly.
