The Zenventure shoe scraper made a very good impression in our test. The shoe scraper measures 36 x 27 x 5 cm and is designed for indoor and outdoor use. In addition to hard bristles for cleaning the soles of shoes, the product also has bristles that are ideal for removing dirt from the sides of the shoe. Three rubber strips are attached to the back of the product to prevent the shoe scraper from slipping during use. What’s more, the shoe scraper is made of high-quality materials and is very well made. However, a collection container for the removed dirt would be desirable.

The shoe wiper comes in a brown-green colored box and was delivered in an undamaged Amazon box. The item was also packaged extremely sustainably and compactly. The packaging box is thick, extremely sturdy and was adapted to the exact dimensions of the shoe scraper. This has the advantage that the product does not wobble around inside the packaging and is ideally protected from external influences. The back of the packaging box contains a product description and some product features. When opening the box, you will also find a very personal thank-you message addressed to the consumer, which also explains the history of Zenventure. You can tell that the young company has put a lot of thought into the packaging. In summary, we find the packaging to be very successful and visually extremely appealing.

Only the shoe scraper is supplied, which has hard bristles for cleaning the soles and sides of shoes. A collection container for the removed dirt would be desirable. Three attached rubber strips should prevent the product from slipping during use. There is no instruction manual for the Zenventure shoe scraper, but this is not absolutely necessary as the use is self-explanatory. Contact information such as the company name, address and e-mail address can be found on the back of the packaging. Nevertheless, we had to deduct ten points in the “Customer information” category, as a customer service telephone number would have been desirable. The packaging box is particularly noteworthy, as it can be reused, for example to temporarily store the shoe wiper.

First of all, it should be mentioned that the shoe scraper is made of high-quality wood and high-quality bristles. The materials are therefore water-resistant and can withstand rain. The color combination of yellow and black bristles and the natural wooden frame is also very visually appealing. A final conclusion on the “sustainability” category can only be drawn after a long period of use. However, due to the very good quality of the shoe scraper, it can be assumed that the product is durable. However, it should be noted that the rubber strips sag slightly and could be fitted a little tighter.

In our test, we tested the shoe scraper on tiles, stone and wooden floors both indoors and outdoors. The screwed wooden struts made a very stable and high-quality impression. The tread bristles responsible for cleaning were also firmly and stably attached to our product. However, the rubber strips on the back could have been attached more firmly. In our test, they sagged a little in places.
In terms of cleaning, we noticed that the shoe scraper is particularly suitable for removing coarse dirt (see picture). The shoe scraper is not really suitable for removing very fine dirt. In addition, the removed dirt falls onto the floor below and must be swept away after use. A collection container for the dirt would therefore be desirable.
In our practical test, we also noticed that the shoe scraper can slip when used with just one foot. However, when used with two feet, the scraper guarantees a secure stand. This means that the shoe scraper is only non-slip when used with both feet.
Price/performance ratio

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.7 stars. One common complaint is that the bristles break off. However, we did not find this to be the case in our test. Customers also often don’t like the fact that the shoe scraper slips during use. However, we did not notice this problem in our test when using it with both feet. Many customers like the fact that the product is well made and of high quality. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the shoe scraper is very well made and of high quality.
Prices of up to €28 .49 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products are available from as little as €15 .94. The Zenventure shoe scraper is currently in the upper price segment with a price of €26 .99. The price ratio is reasonable for the quality and scope of services offered.
